By the way. Chihuahua mean "dry and sandy place." Pretty cool huh guys? Anyways... its not too too hot in the summer like New Mexico but the humidity reaches 50-80% during the summer. So I'll definitely be sweating alot from a hard days work, or a light days work all the same. On a lighter note, the amount of drug trafficking is extremely high in my mission field. I am going to convert conspiring men of the world.
Goals to accomplish during my mission:
1. Much more knowledge of the gospel.
2. Strong testimony..
3. Get fat.
4. Make lifelong friends.
5. Talk circles around Justin Gilbert with my complex vocabulary of Spanish lingo. (irony haha)
6. Look so tan I could be a native.
7. Convert at least 1 person to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is going to be an awesome mission if I make good use of my time there and maintain a positive outlook while I'm serving. I am going to need plenty of letters family! So don't slack off. I'm going to get committments before I leave from each and every one of you. Muhahahaha.... You know who you are. It should be pretty obvious if you can can read this blog. I love all of my family members and cannot wait to tell them about my experiences on my mission from Day 1! I have been given a ton of nicknames over my lifetime. These are all the ones I came up with on the spot.

i believe i have officially addicted chad to this thing...
Felicidades Chad! We are so excited for you and are ready to send you letters and packages. Start reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish (Nate is always telling me I could learn Spanish that way). He still reads them everyday in Spanish and prays that way too!
1) Congrats to Megan
2) It shouldn't take too long for Chad to talk circles around me. I look forward to it.
3) Ditto what Heather said. By the time you have read the BoM cover to cover in Spanish, you will be amazed at how well you understand the language.
4) Don't count on getting fat, unless of course you become an AP and get to drive the mission president around Juarez.
