Over Thanksgiving 2006 we spent more than a week (some more than two) basking in the Mexican sunshine, floating in the aqua waves and stuffing ourselves with all kinds of delightful local foods. Some of our favorites: fresh guacamole, virgin pina coladas and steak cooked Ruth's Chris-style. Activities varied from reading books on the beach and watching the
Lord of the Rings series (at Chad's insistence) to scuba diving off the island of Cozumel and cliff jumping at Xel-Ha. The two photos below were taken on our last full day together. Miraculously there were no huge scuffles as we posed for our photographers (Mom and Dad, in this case).
